It is 6:00 clock in the morning and you get out of bed and look through the window. Dawn is breaking and the sky is lighting to a golden blaze of colour. You look across into the valley and see the mist, shrouding the river and hills in a soft, white veil.
Quickly, you slip on your tracksuit and step out onto the veranda of your cosy cabin and, into the crystal fresh, morning air.
The distinctive sound of the Kookaburra (the so called laughing bird) hangs in the air as you look down below and see the kangaroo, roving freely as it joins others to graze.

The recreational facilities at the Upper Murray Holiday Resort are second to none-including tennis court, two pools (one with a heated spa), bush walking, walking and jogging tracks. “Why not explore Pine Mountain” the largest Monolith Rock in the world 1 ½ times the size of Ayers Rock. Canoe the river, explore the Upper Murray by Mountain Bike.
If golfing is your game, the Walwa Golf Course is located directly opposite the resort on the banks of the Murray River. Course is a picturesque nine-hole, eighteen-tee course.
Whether you are a guest at the resort or exploring our area, join us for meal in our restaurant. Consistent with our philosophy to provide only the very best service all meals are served in the private dining room. Menus are tailored by our Chef to include fresh local grown produce. We are happy to cater for special requests including special theme nights, barbeques and picnic’s.
Our restaurant is fully licensed and open 7 days.
We offer a range of dining alternatives from 3 course dinner to a light snack.
