Amulet Vineyard, established by Sue and Eric Thornton in 1998, is situated 11km west of Beechworth on the Wangaratta road (C315).
The wines are made from Italian and French varieties planted on site, including Sangiovese, Barbera, Nebbiolo; Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet; Pinot Gris and Orange Muscat.
Purchases can be made at cellar door or by phone, fax or mail order.
Outdoor seating is available, in the sun or under the shade of the pergola, to allow visitors to enjoy panoramic bushland views. Private functions can be provided in the cellar or outdoors. Rail Trail nearby. Weekend lunches available from mid 2006.
Trading Hours: Cellar door tasting and sales Friday to Monday, 10am to 5pm; open daily during school and public holidays, and most other days.
