Burraja - the journey is an Aboriginal Heritage & Environmental Discovery Centre that offers educational and general interest tours and programs that focus upon the elements of Aboriginal culture, heritage and the environment.
- Experience the thrill of throwing a spear with a Woomera
- Learn how stone flakes were made for making spear points and knives.
- Learn what local native plants were used by the Aboriginal people in this area.
- Learn how Aboriginal people lived sustainably in the local environment.
- Understand the archaeological processes used to identify Aboriginal occupation and artifacts.
- Undertake Cultural Awareness Training.

Nature's Supermarket
Join one of the Discovery guides on a bushtucker discovery walk around the Gateway Island. Learn about plants that local Aboriginal tribes utilised, how it was collected and prepared.
Time: 1.5 hours
Nature's hardware shop
Learn how tools were made using natural materials.
Time: 1.5 hours.
