An Oasis in Chiltern

Located in the centre of historic Chiltern, which is only 1 kilometre off the Hume Freeway, is the very charming and picturesque Mulberry Tree, which occupies a building formerly built as the Bank of Australasia back in 1877.

This historical building, plus the renovated interior, along with the award winning cottage garden courtyard setting, combines to form a little Oasis in Chiltern, where you may dine where the famed and famished meet.

The Tea Rooms are ideally set either inside the Grand Old Building, or nestled on the Verandah in the cool shade. The home cooked meals are a specialty.

The Tea Garden is set in the award winning Cottage Garden, underneath the delightful shady trees in summer, and is just right for those balmy spring and autumn days.
